The College of Engineering receives guidance and advice from different groups.
- The College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council, established in 1989, is made up of engineering alumni and national industry leaders who are committed to the College’s pursuit of excellence in research activities, scholarship and academic programs, ensuring personal and professional growth for future generations of engineering leaders who will stimulate economic prosperity for Arkansas, the nation and the world.
- The Early Career Advisory Council, established in 2015, was formed to learn from alumni how to improve students’ preparation for the workforce. Members have completed their degrees in the last 10 years.
- The Data Science Advisory Council, established in 2019, is currently made up of university faculty and staff members who have helped build this collaborative undergraduate program.
